So I am starting a blog. This is meant to be one of the purposeful blogs, not a liberal or conservative driven initiative. That the start of this blog times out with a critical election is a matter of coincidence.

The blog is primarily geared to my passion in trading and following the financial markets. My background is in engineering (I have a PhD in chemical engineering) with no forays into "money" engineering until the beginning of this year. This blog will be primarily my insights into the indices and certain stock picks. Sometimes, they may also turn out ot be rants about how things did not go my way.
